Another delightful story. The problem with authors that always write excellent stories is you run out of different ways to gush your praise :P Nice to have an explanation for Sanctuary though. The reverence to Hathor was good for that.

Ah, Rodney's almost drowning and Sheppard's subsequent angst has melted me into a puddle of goo. Loved the Geek/Goon War. *cackle* Kavanaugh's stealing of the pastries was of particular love.

Ha ha! *Giggle* Now he knows how it feels.

Wonderful way to end it. Love this one, too, just wanted to make a suggestion/question.

Could you put something between lines to mark when the scene changes? It's a little confusing.

Between these two lines:

wasn’t sure he would hear me…or understand, but from the slurred ‘**’, I think that he did.

“I died? I died?” He paled and put an automatic hand on his chest to check for a thump-thump. “My heart actually stopped?”

and these:

“Come on, Rodney,” I murmured between breaths. “I’ll even let you fly again.”

“You grounded me?”

Poor John. You got his problem across well - not wanting to like anyone, because of all the things that you've shown can happen. It seemed to me that Rodney feels a bit desperate, too, to protect his friend. You got that across really well, showing that in their actions rather than hitting the reader over the head with it. Thank you for the story. :)

Another great story. Just keep getting better and better. "Squark", still laughing about harvesting the reproductive organs... Love the character interaction, Sheppard's POV, McKay's snark, and occassional appearances of Beckett and Zelenka.

I can't believe all the geeks hated Sheppard. Man, who knew how bad it's be to ** off McKay? Ok, so he did warn Sheppard, but still. *mental note: NEVER ** off someone who's smarter than you*

The Battle of the Geeks. I loved that, every single fabulous moment. You are so gifted you leave me speechless. I can't seem to find the right words to honor you with. You rock.

Sorry I didn't get to read any Atlantis before voting ended but I wanted to tell you this is one of the funniest things I've read in a long time. Great job.

I could kiss your feet for this story. I friggin' hated "Sanctuary". It drove me nuts how un-Sheppard like it was. I mean, really...and the chick couldn't even act. Blah.

This was wonderful, from the Canadian jokes at the beginning to John's just desserts at the end. The line about Kavanaugh eating squark and barfing for a week almost had me snorting milk out my nose. (Horrible image, isn't it.) Guess I shouldn't have been surprised at Beckett siding with the geeks -- after all, with the gene therapy, he's a geek himself.

Oh, just brilliant. I love the whole idea of geeks and goons. Rodney's campaign of revenge was superb, made me laugh from beginning to end.
