i dunno the ranma series all that well but from what i do know and reading some of the other fics i get the impression you've drastically underpowered ranma in this fic.
one blow from yosho, probably not even his strongest has ranma on his knees? come on, ranma beat a demi-god after all.

I'm a fan of the story for the most part but there is one issue I have, Ranma seems to be somewhat underpowered. I've read the Ranma manga and seen the Tenchi Muyo anime, Yosho is pretty damn good, but ranma seems to have gotten weaker since he got this seed, which supposedly enhances some of his natural abilities. I'm not for certain that that ranma could have defeated Yosho, but the ridiculously one sided spar was a little bit over the top and that sucker punch moment just seemed odd. Ranma knows the ShiShi Hokodan so I know this is at least the Manga's midway point I just find it hard to believe that the super charged ranma, in his female form wouldn't be fast enough to block or even partially evade a sucker punch even if it was from Yosho.

Bit strange behavior from yosho imo, he almost always just ignored what went on before. Simply observing the chaos so to speak. Plus I have trouble beliving some earthling criminals, no matter how powerful or well conected are more dangerous then the stuff the shrine usualy deals with insane pirates, bounty hunters, ex aprentices like Kagito or even the evil goddess Tokimi (pending on your version of tenchi).

Compared to that glactic and supernatural trouble always drawn to the shrine which he just met with a smile most the time and let Tenchi do all the work I find it hard to believe such an extreeme reaction from Yosho now.

I really enjoy this story and can't wait for the next chapter. Yosho needs to but out especially since he doesn't know all the facts. I see Ranma being justified in his actions and irritation with Yoshu. The one thing i ask from this story is that you do not have Ranma cave in to Yosho, Washu, or Tsunami. Ranma has been controlled and manipulated in one or another all his life and while he might make mistakes they will be his rather than due to others manipulating him (whether the manipulation is malicious or not). I guess what i want from this story is Yoshu, Washu, and Tsunami to cave to Ranma because they need to see that just because your older doesn't mean you know best, or that just because your young you are foolish. In short i want this story to go with showing that Ranma is in the right.

P.S. an interesting idea that occurred to me is that because Ranma was manipulated into protecting Sasami (protect her or die in Tsunami's words) then he should consider his job complete by age 18 when Sasami will have all the power of Tsunami available to her and theoretically shouldn't need Ranma's protection any more (as Ranma said she would have all the power of a goddess)

Just a thought on a way for Ranma to undermine their manipulations.

Chapters 6 and 7 were quite good. Now, if only we had some more... Ah well...
