great story! please, write a sequel! i LOVE this couple!

I love the fanfic. It amazes me how you are able to write so many different couples, shounen-ai or straight, and still keep the characters real.

Takeru is a very interesting character in both seasons, with a strong trait that he never loses faith in, and a cheerful personality that doesn't prevent him from being thoughtful and honest. The fanfic shows a different side of him, which I can see in Season 02, considering his thoughts were darker then. Even the easiest people to understand that you think you know everything of can wear masks. But he's not a different person, which many angst fanfics tend to do. He still remains cheerful, noting the purity of the title and his childish behaviour during the times he was with Jyou. "Angel" indeed.

I can see the need to keep the "angel" look on too. He was supposed to be the one smiling, and holding his head up when everyone was depressed and down. It strongly reminds me of his theme, "Be All Right", a fact that proves he is in-character. But I can also see him being dependent on people he trusts, Yamato being a good example, since he was very attached on him during the first season. Jyou and Takeru were comfortable around each other, and Jyou's Crest is Reliability, which is why I can see Takeru freeing himself when with him.

Jyou's actions are true to his personality too. Their first kiss shows he is still nervous and shy, while the promise scene makes his love for Takeru and his care for the others clear, a side of him I wish I could see more of in fanfics. Not harsh, but worried enough to act like that.

Another thing I find wonderful is the balance. A few flashbacks can't help but give you a smile, while others are filled with angst. These clash with the dramatic situation Takeru is in now, and his unstable thoughts. It's a great way to keep the reader interested, and the plot running.

You also found a great way to end the fanfic. Other characters and couples are included to keep it fair for every reader, and they add to the fanfic, their satisfying lives clashing with the unbalanced relationship Jyou and Takeru have. It ends with the same way it started, "tenshi no yubiriki", showing Jyou's faithfulness, the way Takeru's cheerfulness influensed him, and Jyou's faith in Takeru, notably the "angel" Takeru is when with him. Everything the fanfic was concentrated on, and all of Takeru's doubts cleared for the reader with that phrase. Tenshi no Yubiriki.

A wonderful fanfic, I would not expect less of you. I hope you write more of this fanfic (it's supposed to be a trilogy, after all, although I understand you already have too many projects) and definitely more of Takeru's POV. Again, good luck!

Jyoukeru? Nani?... but still, that really wasn't the point of the fic. A really good look at Takeru's mind, Musouka-san.

I don't know what to say. This story was so...sweet! I admire anyone who can write Takeru's point of view, and this was done excellently. My like of Jyoukeru fanfiction grows with every one I read...which is probably not saying much because this is only the second one I've read. This was sweet and sad without being completely hopeless. The ending was great...I have to add this to my favorites list. _

That was lovely-how all (almost) of this story was told from Takeru's viewpoint in his memories, and how you integrated description with it. Good job, as usual...

Very good fic, Musouka. (And it's based on my fave Digimon character too! _) Even though the coupling isn't my favorite, it was still good. Hell, you could probably take a Taichi and Agumon fanfic and make that worth my reading time. But you still owe me my kiriban that I won on your page! I'll be sure to write the "Mimato" fic and that "picture" you requested from me. (and no, I am not going to say the reason I put "Mimato" and "picture" in quotes)
