Ok – I must say first of all – I am a BIG fan of your work! So I don’t want you to take this the wrong way, I only hope to help in some small way to give you a different perspective on things. I like alternate pairings, I really do – but more than anything I like to have them justified. With the more typical pairings (like 1x2 and 3x4) you have a base to work from, but when you jump to something like Duo and Millardio – I just felt like something was needed to show how they got together as in what attracted them to each other. What you’ve written here was nice, but I felt like it was mostly just fluff – heartfelt and a little sappy, but with no substance. No “raison d’être” (reason to be) and a fairly weak conflict compared to your other fics. I felt very similar in your other short story “A Place to Belong” (which I accidentally read first). Otherwise, nice job on this scene it was very descriptive and true – I felt – to Duo’s character, at least.

AHHA! i wondered if you would be nice enough to tell us... are you gonna do an after duo challenges heero chapter? u dont have to but...
