Wow, this is an amazing story! I would be smiling at the hobbit fluff one moment, tense with suspense the next, and rooting on the characters another moment. What I'm trying to say is that this story really evoked my emotions (and that it is very multi-genred). You write in character and extremely well. I didn't spot one grammatical or spelling error! :)

This also had all of the hobbit love and angst that I just can't live without. I also loved the resourcefulness of all of the characters, especially Frodo and Merry. Overall, a wonderful, enjoyable story! (I gotta admit, though, my pulse is still racing. xD)

wow very impressed how you still manage to hurt!pippin and comfort him while at the same time hurting Frodo. and in this fic, Merry to. *her mind explodes* :D

I was wondering if giving Pippin that drug was a good idea. *rolls eyes* its like me with out my concerta. I swear Pip has a middle earth version of ADHD. :P

I don't think I've reviewed this story yet, mostly because it's been the middle of the night when I've been reading it. May I say - not necessarily a good story to read in the middle of the night? LOL

However, I came out of lurking mode in this chapter because I simply *had* to say I love your Boromir. His "Goodbye, my friend. May we meet again in a better place" brought a lump to my throat. Kind of a nice parallel to his death at Parth Galen for Merry and Pippin, but this time he was offering his life for the ringbearer. Makes his ultimate defeat by the ring even more bittersweet.

I also liked the end of Ch. 11, with the last rays of the sun staining the warg's fangs red. Great description!

YAY! Holy Jeeze, that thing with the poisoned blade is freaking creepy. Man I am so glad you didn't decide to have Frodo get cut by that sword cause then they'd have to beat the clock back to Rivendel and that would be quite the attention grabber. This story rocks.

I love the ending, with Frodo, weary but determined leading on. It's a great note on which to end this adventure. Excellent, suspenseful work as always!! Amazing what one sentence of dialogue will do in terms of inspiration. I always found "I will crush him" to be a bit odd-sounding, but you have provided a backstory that makes perfect sense. :)

I eagerly await the next tale!

LOL! Awesome line XD That's absolutely hilarious, and something I can completely see Gandalf saying.

Aww, that whole scene with Merry and Pippin was cute. And Pippin snuggling against Aragorn!! AW! *dies from the cuteness*

... and the cuteness dies. Figures there would be something else around :P I loved that battle scene. Hehehe, the warg dragged Aragorn through the air... *giggles* Sorry, it's a bit late... and I'm a bit hyper =D

Brilliant ending - and I love how you got the inspiration for this story. I did get the vibe that there was a 'thing' between Gandalf and the Witch King - the Nazgul seemed intent on destroying Gandalf, and this explains why quite well!

that's the end? aww, but i guess it did have to end there. GO FRODO! excellent story. *sigh* i wish i didn't have to go clean now.
