Old stories are always the best, especially after you've had the chance to read through them again and fix them up. Heck, they're from the time in which you first started getting interested in writing, and everything that came to mind was jotted down on a scrap of paper or in a notebook and saved for later review. Seriously awesome stories come out of those older works. ^^

Where to begin? I can't organize my thoughts right now to come up with an intelligent-sounding review, so I hope this will do. It's been a long day... This has a lot of potential, and I sense a long and involved story coming up. And to be honest, I'm looking forward to it. I envy your ability to string together details and have them come out in such a complimentary way. ^^

Now the question is whether or not I'll be able to catch the next part in a timely manner.

This has a real nice flow to it. I think it'd be better if you described the figure in the forest first and brought the rest in as a flashback.

I did enjoy the descriptions though. Made me want to go to the beach and take a walk in the woods. Ocean and pine are the best smells in the world. *grins*

Sorry I haven't been around lately. I have a library up my butt right now and I can't sit straight let alone think straight. I'm glad to see you're still writing. ^^ Looking forward to more!
