some crazy girl who likes pie 2009-11-19 . chapter 18Do you have any idea how happy it would make me if you started updating again? Seriously, this is probably the BEST Pokemon story out there. I love, love, LOVE it. It's amazing.
I'd bribe you, but I have nothing to bribe with. >.< |
 Illusion-Factory 2009-11-15 . chapter 10the cubones all seem a little...young...like babies. |
 DD 2009-08-04 . chapter 18 Nice |
Sgt. Red 2009-08-01 . chapter 2That Psyduck thing was pretty clever though, and it made sense. The helmets sent shocks into the brain, causing extreme pain. And Psyduck's Psychic attacks get stronger with the intensity of the headache, meaning such extreme pain can unleash limitless power. They're also quite common Pokemon when they're not being mass bred and shipped out to market. Props to you, that was incredibly well thought out, and kept true to actual Pokemon facts as well; there's not a lot of writers who can perform that so effectively! |
Caian 2009-07-15 . chapter 18 I found your story only yesterday and I can't believe how much I managed to read. This fic' made me so paranoid about Pokemon that I was jumpy about everything else as well.
Please keep writing- and update soon.
I have to know what happens next... |
markrock18 2009-05-29 . chapter 18I just found this story recently though I confess to being very confused. I get that your are saying to look underneath everything and that there may be a conspiracy under every single league within the Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn regions. will Elliot be traveling to all three regions? will team rocket have a large part in the story? keep writing and I will wait for the next chapter. |
 Xolroc 2009-04-04 . chapter 18 UPDATE IT! |
SunLight 2009-01-08 . chapter 1You haven't updated the story in so long. Will you finish it? I know life can be busy and I'm a hypocrite :P but it'd really be nice to have the Xanthic Growlithe Contract series completed. |
Dagzar 2009-01-04 . chapter 18It's for the best that you couldn't see my expression when I realized that this story hasn't been updated for about two years.
I was a bit hesitant at reading this story and its prequel at first; I saw it around a lot, but I wasn't really interested in Pokemon fanfiction. But this time, I decided to give it a try.
And was blown away.
This is one of the most creative Pokemon stories I've seen. Sure, the chapters aren't very long, but it makes up with the suspenseful story that kept me at the edge of my seat. The characters were a bit bland at first, but that was before they started to grow on me.
There are so many mysteries in the story and I would love to know how it ends.
I'm rather put out that this story is seemingly abandoned / discontinued, but you have your reasons. I do hope, one day, you may take it up again.
I'll be watching.
Cheers!

Pinky Coli 2008-05-08 . chapter 18I just wanted to review to say that while I was reading the first story in Kanto I picked up something. When Elliot was talking to Miguel in the tin towers they were mentioning people buying cubone skulls. Perhaps the surplus in cubones in jhoto has something to do with it. |
kax 2008-05-04 . chapter 1 I've read your story and its really excellent.
I have a suspicion that prowler might be from a gen trainer.
this is one of the few stories (that and your previous story)I've actually reread to get the full detail. |
MoonCat 2008-01-25 . chapter 18 I love your take on the Pokemon world. The two stories in your series makes your readers wonder what's really going on. Take the conversation at the end of this chapter. This, and other scenes like it add to the mystery and paranoia that surrounds the stories. You haven't updated in a long time and I'm starting to worry. I hope you're okay. I'd love to see this story finished. It was starting to get good! I also love what I consider to be the most dysfunctional and unusual group of Pokemon I have had the pleasure to read about. Well, I hope I get to see more of this story, as it is very intriguing. I will see you next review! |
Ms Lilly 2007-09-26 . chapter 18I just wanted to say that I've really liked this story and I hope you update it soon...I just started reading Xanthic Growlithe Contract yesterday and I'm a really fast reader so even if you update within a week I'm probably reading another story alredy but I'm putting you on my Story Alert so I remember to read when you update... I put the first one in my favorites too.
I usually forget to review at all so I probably won't review your story again. |
fossil lover 2007-07-08 . chapter 18 exelent story when is he gona get that fossil pokemon back im hoping its an areodactyl or a kabuto and it could kinda be like prowler since it would know nothing of the modern world |
A Parliament of Owls 2007-06-18 . chapter 18 This will be a multi-chapter review since I'm way to lazy.
I like the way Johto feels. It doesn't exactly have the same creepiness as Kanto--though it seems like you're still making an attemp to keep it kind of dark, especially with Ecruteak. Kanto's uniformity seems to exacerabate all it's problems though. It reminds me a lot of world in "The Giver."
There was one grammer mistake in particular in Chapter 16 that made things a little confusing. When Elliot's at Morty's gym and he pulled his arm back it said, "fully attacked, and present fingers." That sounds like it should actually be "fully attached and present fingers."
Also--why did Morty use a Gastly? It seems like the Johto gym leaders aren't trying to go easy on their opponents considering Elliot's actually lost a few battles here, but honestly, a Gastly? Those seem a bit weak considering he has Haunter and Gengar.
All the trainer disappearances are interesting in a morbid sort of way though I'm still having a little trouble seeing the exact plot (not that this is uninteresting or anything) but Elliot seems to be randomly wandering and Kanto still feels unresolved to me...so will we eventually get the answers to the questions in the conspiracy theory?
Oh yeah, Prowler's still my favorite character, although I really do like all of them (excepting Howler. While I usually like Growlithe, the image of him being squishy with that soft, fatless flesh like Prowler says is just...gross), especially Din (surprisingly I even like Discord though I usually detest Jigglypuff and Igglybuff--I think I dislike Igglybuff even more). Prowler is interesting because regardless of whether or not she is sane has a strong opinion about many things and she also seems to have some sort of control...control over what I'm not sure, Din I guess and maybe Elliot.
Anyway, hopefully you update soon, although its probably best if didn't spend hours every day reading fanfiction. |
