About two summers ago, I discovered this fanfic and constantly read it at every chance I got. Submitting a review of this was one of the motivations I had for registering. Needless to say, the only thing wrong with it was misspelling. Characterization, descriptive battles, milieu, events, inklings, and of course integration (possibly the most important factor in creating a good retelling and for that matter an rpg fanfic). The dynamic charaterization of Link rather than a static saintly saviour, is truly something to be commended. It proves him more of a human character when he is changed by his trials, certainly no one here could go through what he went through and not be hardened (to say the least). I tip my hat to you Arxane, and I certainly hope that you will complete this fanfic (don't worry, I won't send death threats).

well, technically this is a comment. First, i would like to say that i continue to enjoy your fic, if i ever get it in me to write one of my own on LoZ then i hope it will be something as good as this. i will also have to find time in my "busy" 7th grade schedule. Second, i think it would be really awesome if you wrote more fanfiction, like other LoZ stories. There aren't enough good LoZ fanfic authors out there. I'm done now.

Were I Sheik I would probably slap Link for being so selfish. If he lived those years in the forest, then how can they be a lie? you're doing this Fanfic VERY well. I imagined that Link would probably be like this in the game and in real life and whatnot.

i'm not sure what hand you have Link holding his sword in, but he's left handed in OoT and MM. that's all. Oh, and you seem to use the word "uttered" alot.
