iggywaffle 2007-05-14 ch 1,	abuseNot only is there a lack of good NejiNaru in the world, but there's also a lack of fics who can hold their own without making a spectacle out of said romance -- but you wrote this perfectly. Naruto's reaction was perfect, and the little underlying displays of affection were enough to make Neji and Naruto's relationship seem real. You chose quite possibly the single, most perfect gift Naruto could have ever recieved, and reading about it was like-- ... Actually, no. I'm not going to sacrifice my pride by saying that I got teary. :P But... and... I'm going to stop pretending to be coherent, because oh my god, that was the cutest and most heart wrenching thing EVER and they tattooed their goddamn cheeks and... ohmygod. This is going in my favorites. :3 I'll be happy to look back and read this on a rainy day when I need some cheering up.

I have seen fics where Naruto rescues and raises abandoned before, but they were mostly done from naruto's POV.. I adore the pride, respect and love the children have for Naruto, and of course, the slight NejiNaru too. Favouriting!

The children are perfect and Naruto's reaction to them is just... beautiful. The way even after all this time he doubts how much others care for him, the overwhelming love he would have for a family like this, how much this would mean to him... The tension and emotional breakdown when he realizes what they've done... THIS LINE: "He had taken these children as his own. They were taking him as their own, and suddenly his accidental, successful little attempt at a family felt as though it was rooted deeper than he had ever known." sniffles happily It's all so happy... I often rebel against the sudden introduction of original characters but... just wow. I usually don't have this much trouble explaining why I liked a fic, but... I just really love the universe you've built here and how you portray the characterse in it. And your writing style, can't forget about that.
lorelei2876 2005-09-17 ch 1,	abuseUtterly heartwrenching, deeply touching. The emotion behind this is so true, it made me ache a little when I finished the story. Sure, Naruto isn't real per se, but it's hard not to get emotionally invested in a non-living character when a story is as well written as this.
