I still owe you a review for this wonderful fanfiction. The first time I read this on it just made me smile. I hadn't seen any episodes of Stargate Atlantis then. But your story - among other factors - made me curious enough to give it a try.

Re-reading it now on after having seen several episodes of the show and with the voices of the characters clearly in my mind absolutely enhanced the reading pleasure.

A very good piece of fanfiction, indeed. Yay for the Hitch-Hiker allusion! And you write Becket every inch as adorable as he is on screen. And yes, I fully sympathize with his sentiment of the end of the tea equalling the end of the civilized world. Yes, this comes from me, the former coffee-addict.

This was great! I can just imagine Beckett equating the end of the tea with the end of the world. And I loved the Hitchhiker's Guide reference. It's one of my favorite sci-fi stories.

Sheppard and Beckett, that's a combo you don't see often. I'm glad to see some interaction between the two -- after all, doesn't Sheppard spend an awful lot of time in the infirmary? I'm sure they'd have more than a passing familiarity by now. I think they'd get along pretty well despite Beckett's more eccentric behavior at times.
