But imagine my delight on finding you've done Buffy fics! I mean, I like Furuba, but I live and breathe Buffy/Angel/Firefly. Seriously, Joss Whedon is the chief of my Writing Gods. And now you, who have joined their ranks, have fics in his shows sobs for sheer joy

I felt pretty neutral towards Riley while he was on the show. I like Spike because he's funny. But this just...sucked. Spike has the chip out of his head? And he's "shagging" the slayer? Alright, sure, I can suspend disbelief there. But I can't imagine Riley trembling with fear or wetting himself. He's a soldier, dear. He never would have joined the initiative in the first place if fighting demons made him piss in his pants. Spike is a 200-year-old master vampire, so he's obviously a better fighter...which is why Riley would never challenge him to a fight holding nothing but a knife. He's not as much of an ox as you think he is. Sure, Joss never bothered to give him much of a personality, but he's made it pretty clear that Riley's a smart guy. And a lot braver than you give him credit for. Did you ever even watch the show?

Hey, hey, hey go Spike. Sorry I too don't particularly like Riley. Hope he's gone for good. Spike deserves to get a chance with Buffy. That's what I'd like to see anyway.
