I love this fic to pieces.
The imagery, characterization and interaction is just so beautifully written.

Much love for this. It's rare to find an author than can keep a metaphor going throughout a fic without it getting tired. And I love your characterizations, especially of Chase. He always seems to get the short end of the stick. :)

This is just so... perfectly lovely. The interaction is beautiful, the emotions come through clearly and there are so many good lines for such a short fic! Especially the last line *sighs happily* you do such a great job with House and his feelings towards his ducklings!

It sounds so much like I'd imagine House to sound in one of his softer moments, I really hope you continue with House, M.D. fanfiction; writers who write tricky characters well are few and far between.

That was so in character, and I must admit maybe I say this because it seems that you see House and the others the same way I do. But it really was good, with no complaints from me.

It's lovely. Simple, elegant, to the point. You've managed to capture House's personality and his relationship with Chase. And the comparison is wonderful. I can imagine he thinks of them that way.

Nice job, Sam! The dynamics are right on, picking up well from the kick in the gut the end of this episode was last night. House contemplates his ducklings...you should write more (of this, of anything). :)
