::sniff:: I was crying when Trunks found Gohan's school books and was just in the house in general! You have got to be the best writer I've seen in a long time, and I was telling my friend this story seems like something I'd write. But back to the point, you rock and so does your fic!

I haven't read very many fics that deal with Trunks's life immediately after Gohan's death, so this was very interesting. I thought that the fight with the :::proceeds to butcher spelling::: Jizouningen was realistic. Also, it's nice to finally know where he actually got that damned sword of his.

i love this story! it's short and sweet.

Awwww... very cute story. It reall was touching, and the details helped me to really envision everything.

2 points, though - DBZ being Japanese, they probably wouldn't celebrate Christmas - though I have seen the picture you describe with all the characters in Santa hats.

The other point being, I thought it odd that Trunks found the axe heavy, and had to drag it along from Goku's house - yet he fought the jinzoungen and was able to lift Bulma in the end so she could reach the top to put on the star. That's one heavy axe!

And have you ever seen a 13 or 14 year old sit on his mother's lap? (Sorry, I know that was 3 points, I lied...) All the things I pointed out, though, were really minor and the story was really nice overall. Keep up the good work. :)

Oh that was really sweet I feel sorry for Trunks. He is so cute. Anyway I liked the part when he went into Goku's house. I had TEARS in my eyes. All in all a very good story!
