You have several mistakes. Like "They where both knee deep in a loud stream" and "He was far to heavy" mostly it's timy stuff, but in a short story it can really take away from the reading.

A nice look at Apollo and Midnighter though, and a lost year story si always a plus.

oh, I love it! I'm a huge fan of stories about the lost years of hiding from Bendix. Beautiful subtle relationship play, here, and a nice exploration into the limits (or lack thereof) of their enhancements!
