abuseLOLZ! I used to remember those PACEs comics even right before you were born (I'm 28 now and attended ACE school at the age of 6)!! Of course, some of the more 'serious' matters in the comics have been discussed by the time I reached the 1060s on the subjects (Primarily English and Social Studies) ehehehe.

It sure brings back lots of fond memories, and I agree that Ace and Christie would be young parents if they stick to what is real while keeping the faith (or at least until their stage of puberty really starts to kick in at the age of 21 XD).

I kinda forgot Racer's adopted brother's name from South America, though, and I think he's the one who got hitched with Sandy. And to think that Pudge (now Matt during the 1090s or more if I could remember). Ronnie Vain still rocks because he's trying to keep it real (real stupid for him, but hey, no real criminal wears a cloak and hides his face).

Hm... How I remember the cast and all... lesse...

Highland Church

Virtuesons:
Of course just Dad, Mom and Ace, Wags, forgot the second dog, Grandparents. And don't forget the relatives like um. forgot them but was killed off, leaving the twins to them.

Loyaltons:
Racer and the adopted kid (who soon got stuck to a wheelchair)

Meekways:
Dad (deceased), Mom, older brother, Pudge (Matt). I dunno if they had grandparents. I think they do...

Lovejoys:
Parents, Christie, Mittens (cat)

McMercys:
Parents, Bill, Sandy, forgot the youngest sister's name, and I recall they have a cat as well.

The smart kid who's filthy, stinkin' rich:
I only remember the name Reginald. No mom, though.

Harmony High:

they're kinda like the second stringers so I keep forgetting their names. And they say that racial segregation is illegal.

Antagonists... or something (also known as the real kids)
Ronnie Vain and forgot the chick's name, though. Too bad she got killed off as well.

Other Casts:
Martha and Mary, the geriatric sisters while the former being the grumpy one.

Supervisor and Monitor, forgot their names, though.

Hm.. am I forgetting someone or something else?

There are others, but it's slowly fading from my mind.

Well, first, a pledge:

I Pledge Allegiance to the Christian Flag,
And to the Savior whose Kingdom it stands,
One Savior crucified, risen and coming again
To life and liberty for all who believe.

I Pledge Allegiance to the Bible,
God's Holy Word,
I will make it a lamp to my feet,
and a light to my path.
I will hide each word in my heart
So I may not sin against God.

Weird place, weird time. Well, what do you expect from a school established in Texas in the 70s? I guess we all have to grow up to make our own mistakes and decisions. What makes it interesting is not the fact that God will forgive us for every mistake, but He can help us learn so that we could understand what He had planned for us. If you got time, give this old ACE alumnus a trip back to memory lane.

Well, off to Terra City! Best place to find a sense of meaning and money for my boot camp money. No alcohol or hookers there ;P

Peace!

abusei don't do PACEs or know about the comics, but your point was obvious and i freakin loved it. i can picture the comics just by reading this. it reminds me of 'goofus and gallant' from highlights a little, mainly because it so blatantly plays into stereotypes and encourages them. it's like a lot of media in that there are 'good' people and 'bad' people, as if it doesn't depend on how you look at the situation and as if everyone doesn't do both good and bad things. You seem like you are not a particularly ardent follower of christianity, though perhaps you are and merely poke fun at the way it is often represented... i appreciate either sentiment.

abuseOh, this is a lovely parody! So funny, and so in character! Destroy all the PACE-Sues!

Honestly, sometimes I'm ashamed of my religion. (It's not Jesus I don't like, it's His FANGIRLS.) But parodies like this make it all worthwhile. :D Very very nice!
