Umm...Hearts of Stone Inc...anyway...

This was incredible - and so Leroux it made me so happy! And yet, sad. I love this part in the book, so, it was so good to read it from a character's POV...and it is exactly what would have been going through his mind. I think your writing even shadows Leroux a bit, which is NOT choppy, etc. it's just a style choice. Very well done, bravo to you!

Apparently Hearts of Stone is not a fan of the original novel, as this is COMPLETELY in-character and true to canon. And for that, I absolutley loved it. I think the way you wrote Raoul's thoughts really conveyed his sadness and despair. Thank you so much for this lovely fic!

This is incredibly stupid. I do not say so simply because Raoul is a comfortable aristocrat who /does/ “get the girl”. The story was choppy, filled with short, blunt sentence and lacking abominably in description. Besides, it really is ridiculous to write a fic changing the story of Phantom of the Opera simply so that you can make the ending sad for another character. There is truly only one person suffering from unrequited love in the story, making this fic OOC.

Oh...::sniffle:: Poor Raoul...

This was depressing. It made me sad just because my sweet Raoul was sad. But this was very good! Raoul's character was very accurate and it was so well written and based off of Leroux.

Curse you, Christine Daae! How you toy with his emotions! You don't deserve to have him, you snottly little twit. But, even though this is what I think of Christine, she just seems right to be with Raoul, even though she is lower than dirt most of the time. And spacey...and awkward...

Anyway, this was excellent. I liked it. Good job! ::adds to faves::

OMG...this is wonderful. So totally, completely and utterly Raoul. You did an amazing job of getting into his head. He seems just like he did in Leroux-sweet, passionate and naive. I loved this so much. As soon as I get the chance, I'm adding this to the Project Vicomte C2 list, if you don't object. It would be a very welcome addition!
