Luffy is such a sweetheart for making a cake (albeit an extremely sugary meaty one with mayonnaise in it) for his nakama. I found it interesting that Zoro was usually the first one to go along with Luffy's plan, being the first one to enter the kitchen, sitting at the table and eating the cake. It's nice to see a fic where the crew just relaxes and have a good time, laughing and goofing off, doing what they do the most. I can just see Luffy trying to escape the horrors of cleaning up the Going Merry and Sanji chasing his ever elusive captain. ^^

Nakama Day would be the best holiday ever. This was very entertaining.

Heh, that was adorable. There are few pleasures that can compare to reading a well written, in-character fic as full of sweet nakama-y good-ness as this one. Very in character, the entire thing was a treat to read. ^^ "Nakama Day" heh, absolutely adorable. I bow to your genius.

I especially liked the beginning, following Luffy's thought process as he's making the cake. A fun fic, very IC and gave me a good laugh. ^_^ Mayonnaise ! Ugh! ^_^
