I'm a little sorry that the last two pieces seam to gloss over the "little thing" you emphased so much bevore, but "blp" is one of the best series I ever read. The entire thing was well written and well thought out (or at least gave the apperence that it was) the characters were done great without lossing what it is that makes them who they are. Keep up the fantastic work!!
RossWrock 2005-04-06 ch 1,	abuseI've never reviewed any fic that wasn't HP before, but I've just got to leave this for you saying that I really enjoyed your series of crossovers. While they aren't the best writing I've ever read, and some of the reasoning you created to support the crossovers were questionable in my opinion, I nonetheless found each and every story enticing, interesting, and well developed. Not only that, but between Methos's many obligations (SG1, the babies, the search for Ancients, Mac, Joe, Amanda, Cassandra, etc.), I'm amazed that you've managed to juggle so many subplots without dropping any of them. To a less experienced reader, or to someone not VERY familiar with the two shows, your fic was almost confusing. But I found them almost more enjoyable than the shows they were based on. So, that's about it. Congrats on your hard work, and if you have any more ideas in your head (I thought it'd be cool to have a Immortal SG team led by Duncan, so he and Sam weren't so close together in work), please let me know. I'd read them in a heartbeat. Ross P.S. Oh yeah, why is there no Richie in your fics? You mentioned him, but didn't say he died, adn I know a lot of Higlander fans ignore that fact. Plus you wrote Connor MacLeaod alive (he died in the latest movie), so I figure you're not that dedicated to canon. Just curious, as Richie's close-in with the circle of friends you introduced (Mac, Joe, Ammanda, Cassandra, etc.)
Siobhan Torrin 2005-03-25 ch 1,	abuseWell, it took me two nights to do it, but I've read all of the "Best Laid Plans" series... and I'd just like to say that you're brilliant! I loved it all! Your writing is well developed, the plot is very well thought out, and the characters stay true to form. I especially adore your characterization of Methos. You kept the ROG looking very much like himself. I believe my only complaint is that appears to have taken some of the formatting out -- but what's one small hitch in the grand scheme of things? I hope to see more fics set in this universe! I'll be looking forward to it, actually. Excellent job. -- Siobhan
T're 2005-03-18 ch 1, anon.	abuseHey wajag, I really loved your series 'Best Laid plans'. It was well written and was extremly interesting. I could see this happening in an alternate universe. I'm a Sg1 and highlander fan and I think you portrayed the characters in both series very well. If you have any more ideas for this series to continue, please do so, I'm sure others feel as i do, I would enjoy reading it... ~T're (I love your work, but did you ever write about the time, Tim Wyatt and Methos when they were stuck in the mountians? You touched bases on it in 'Hold the fire' I'm just curious)
