Good story, although I think it would have been even better if you had NOT detoured into AU style. In a way I can understand why you did it, but for me at least, it detracted from the ability to let the story feel "real".

this was such a beautiful story i cant tell you how close to tears it brought me... i would be totally greatful if you and your muse would think about another epilouge ... like when the stargate comes out and this was actually aired.. but whatever..teheh

Wow. I don't know how I didn't see this sooner (and it would have helped to not stay up reading it until 12:40pm!). This is a great story. I was so hoping it would not kill Janet, but you did a great job changing the story without changing the story. I like your version better!

I've lost track of this story, but I'm fully updated now. I like the direction you're taking it, good job.

Oh my! *tissue* This is wonderful! Yes, i said wonderful! You captured the reality of fighting, and the reality of emotions... even if it was sqeezed into a chapter - I mean, really how long can one read a sad, sad story like this? You captured the essence of the plot, and truly carried it into the proper ending.

And what about those unscheduled activations? Never thought about it that way! And I was fumming (both the first and second time I saw Heroes) about the almost lack of responce to Cassie - she is her daughter for pete's sake!

Like I said, this is wonderful! And I'm glad you hope to get this done before Monday, since I too will be out of town, and really would love to see this wrapped up - wonderfully written, highly recommended, as always!
