This has to be one of the most descriptively amazing one-shot stories of the entire Hikaru no Go story section. I completely understand Sai's emotions, and that is something that few authors get right!

Wow... just wonderful. This was written so beautifully, I'm crying. And it takes a LOT for me to cry. I know the whole story already, even though I haven't seen the whole series (too curious for my own good, I HAD to read the spoilers), and in my opinion, you portrayed the emotions really well. Sai's regret and feelings were written really well, it's not too overdone, like in some overly dramatic stories, or too low that you think Sai's close to being heartless.

I haven't read any HnG fics for a while, and I'm really, really glad I decided to read this one as my first HnG fics in several months. It's just wonderful.
