I can see Ranma's rougher edges being smoothed by exposure to Ayeka on a one on one basis, even more so by the direct exposure to her memories and, perhaps, soul. They make an unusual but compelling couple. It's good that Ranma knows Ayeka's flaws as well as her positive points, his balanced view of her makes his growing love all the stronger. I do hope to see Ranma mastering Juraian energy soon, it will be interesting to see how you interpret that mastery. Light Hawk wings? Or perhaps something more akin to ki, especially how ki reinforces ones physical abilities? Yosho's abilities certainly seem augmented by his energy. Interesting how you have Shampoo and Ayeka forming a frienship. Two young women both trained to lead may very well have a fair amount in common. I'm interested to see where you'll take this. What the heck are Akane and Ryouga going to do? And how will Ryouga keep his curse a secret? He's never been as much of a water magnet as Ranma, but he still gets nailed. Nowhere to hide on a small ship. And what is Azusa thinking!? Did he give permission to let his daughter get kidnapped? Eagerly awaiting more. Thanks!
Ar-Kaos 2005-10-27 ch 3,	abuseI like it a lot. Looks like we will be getting a solid plot to go along with soem fun characterisation. I for one prefert the more serious edge. I hope you can maintain the tension without slipping into trying to explain/fix all the problems. for my 2 cents get rid of some extra characters, you may be setting up too many substories otherwise
NeverTooOld 2005-09-09 ch 3,	abuseThank you for an interesting story. The pairing of Ayeka and Ranma is unusual, but workable with the bonding that she used to save his/her life. Washu's little trick on Ryoga and Akane is nothing short of poetic justice: the two of them have been hammering on Ranma for months, and for them to see the graphic results of their assaults was priceless. Shampoo and Ukyo were clearly surprised by the changes in Ranma, especially his drastic drop in power, after all, Ranma has always been able to overcome any obstacles or opponents (eventually) and to see him reduced to being the weakest member of their party must be a shock. The influence that Ayeka has had on him, both from the bonding and just from being with him as he deals with the Nekoken, has changed him almost beyond recognition. Her acceptance of his curse and his 'foot-in-mouth' tendancies alone would be enough to draw him to her, but beyond that is the fact that she trusts him, something that none of his other 'fiancees' has ever done.
