abuseThis story disturbs me, it really does...

Do you really think Luffy would just go off and die like that? That's just not Luffy to me...

Everyone is IC, though - even Zoro, although I didn't think so to begin with. Sure, he'd do anything to save Luffy, but not if Luffy doesn't want to be saved.

It's beautifully written, though - right down to Luffy's smile at the end.

abuseooh, we got a sequel! i didnt realize there'd be a sequel! *so happy* you know, it's interesting because i've read several OP fics with a similar premise, but i really like how this was done. first of all, yours was different because of Reaching Your Goal (i loved that story *_*) and all that happened in it... what Luffy found and all that. i really liked that they held up their left hands, and Usopp's new position... Sanji's anger was well-done and so was Zoro's determination. i actually liked how it skipped around; i think the story was most effectively told this way. i loved the flashbacks! so great! i can just imagine those happening spanned across the years, Luffy in one of his seemingly random serious moments, and him getting the information/answer he wanted or needed to hear while still managing to make people forget about the conversation later. it was so great! i also loved his speech. and i think it's true, in a sense. i think to him that IS part of the adventure.. what other sort of end is perfect for the Pirate King? i also really liked that Luffy never told anyone about what he had in that chest... and that Zoro still knew. it was a really nice touch, and something i could see him doing. i really enjoyed reading Luffy as older and a little more reserved but still definitely himself. i think it's a great representation of him, because he makes me think a little bit of Ace and Shanks with himself intermixed. i'd like to think Luffy *would* turn out that way in a few years... ^_^

great job again! i love your stories so much *_* and now im done with my, once again, long review. *cough* sorry ^^;

abuse*sobs* This is so sad! And so well written too. I could almost see the expressions on the crew members' faces and feel their emotions! Great job!! I hadn't really expected Ussop to be the one who takes over since it's usually the first mate. This fic is great! Awesome job!
