This was another interesting read for me today.
I guessed it was Speed in the beginning. Also, I can't believe you haven't seen much of the show. I thought you wrote everyone very in character.
For a while I thought this would end with Speed admitting that he had been knowing that Racer X was his brother.
Anyhow, wonderful job. I wish you'd write more SR fics.

The intro is very dramatic! It's a little more serious than one would expect the typical Speed Racer story to be, but it works. Speed's dedication to Racer X is true-to-character. And I can totally picture Speed taking corners on two wheels and running down nurses in his wheelchair... :)
