I'm not sure how it fits into canon, but all that emotion... a moving story. And Brad's reaction fits in with the way he was acting in the latest issue, so I take back what I said about it.
More Minor Stuff:

"Mrs. Silver arrived minuets ago" -- more 18th-century dances.

"'Oh it’ll only take a second, Silver.' The other tall man enthused." -- You might want to make the first period there a comma, and the T in "the" shouldn't be capitalised. This is true of several parts of the fic.
