Holy crap that was amazing!

Oh, I loved the story! I wish you had made it into a full story, I love this pairing. I agree they didn't get enough time in the book. I loved how you went through everything that hapend to then. The love, hate, grief, anger, resentment, rejoining, love, understanding, and sacrifice. I adore it so much, you did a spectacular job with it, Yay you! I hope you make other Marisa/Asriel stories! Thanks for a great story!

That was some seriously good work. These are my favorite books in the world and I always want to know more. This is so good that I think Phillip Pullman could've written it himself and put it in the books and It would've made it even better thatn it already is. I like the last segment, amazing really amazing because that's alot like I imagined it.

I completely agree. Their relationship fascinates me as well, and I really would have enjoyed some more focus on them in the books. Excellent Marisa/Asriel fiction, in a fandom that does not seem to have quite enough of it.

excellent. asriel and marisa are two of my favorite literary couples. i mean, they're just so... not quite evil, but not good guys either. i wish there was more about them on the site, or in the books. out of curiosity, what exactly does 10X100 format mean?

Finally: a good Lord Asriel and Mrs Coulter fic.

That was absolutely perfect.

I just finished TAS and I was so moved by their final scene. Asriel and Marisa are my favorites. You pretty muched summed up how I feel about them in your authoress's note. I always wanted to read more about them, and I came on here hoping to find something. I was so disappointed to find that not only was there very little, but so much of it was an utter insult to these two brilliant characters.

This fic was exactly what I was looking for. I can say confidantly that it is the best marisa/asriel fic I've read, having explored thoroughly. Not that there is much competition, but this was just wonderful. Both of them were in character completely, and each scene stood out vividly and beautifully, and I could see them before my eyes.

I've probably rambled enough, but I just wanted to let you know as best I could how amazing it was for me to find this fic. Thank you for writing it.

Hi! I read this absolutely *ages* ago, and I thought I'd written a review but it turns out I hadn't.
I really like this piece. I'm more in the HP fandom but I love HDM, and this is just brilliant. You chose really insightful scenes from their relationship to write, and wrote it brilliantly. It's amazing how much you can get out of so few words, and how well you integrate the scenes with canon so that you fic and the books complement each other. Nice work!

PS - just wondering, did you make up the 10x100 format? Because if you did, I'm sorry - I sort of ripped it off. I thought it was a sort established format but I've never seen anything else written in it.

Wonderful. I always loved the parts about Asriel and Marisa in the books, and I agree with you completely-- it never seemed to be enough. I've wondered, too.

I adored this, really. You have a lovely style, and you managed to keep them perfectly in character.

Gorgeous. The perfect ten moments to write about--all done beautifully. You're right, they DO deserve more time in the books. Their bits are my favs ^_^.
