This story is so beautiful! I laughed, I cried, it moved me! Falkner is one of my favorite Pokemon characters, and Johto Gym Leaders are so under appreciated, so it's nice to see a story about one of them, and a wonderfully well-written and interesting one at that. Oh, and I loved Skarmory's nickname! (Scrapper. I just LOVE that word.)

Very dramatic... I enjoyed it.

This explains why Falkner keeps talking about 'wanting to live up' to his father's expectations, especially in the battle with Janine (the manga).

Why he wouldn't fly over the plane crash was a mystery to me, though... I would have thought he'd spend all his time there, but it could be just that I'm weird.

Ohmigosh... THIS FANFIC IS SO SAD! Lately, I've been interested in Falkner's past and his relationship with his father, so I was easily drawn to this story... And I think it's cool to do stories based on the Gym Leaders, but mainly the Johto Leaders(my first and third(Falkner) favorite Pokemon characters are Johto Leaders)... Keep up the good work! *claps*

And i also like the name puns you used, Bryce, presumably Pryce's grandson, who caught for him a Piloswine (ice type, Pryce leads the ice gym), which was named Charlotte. Is that a Charlotte's Web reference, seeing as the piloswine is a pig, the main character of Charlotte's Web was named Charlotte, etc. I like this! Not just because it's written well and is very original, but it's about Falkner! Yay! I like Falkner, he's smart, he's genle, but he's also proud. And, at the risk of sounding like a groupie, he's really cute! Hee hee! Baibai!

I really really liked this story; you should write more about fanfics about Falkner. And Falkner was really in character, too.

Oh, that was beautiful. Falkner is the coolest trainer of all . . . ::sigh:: I figured his dad had died early or something. The old man in Violet City in the game says he inherited it from his father. Falkner's so dedicated to his Pokemon and his training, too. Thanks for writing a Falkner fic :)
