Unreal. That's the first word that came to mind after I read this chapter. Kira's thoughts are so unreal and whimsical, and scattered. Yet simple at the same time, like a child. And the way you wrote it..it's beautiful. It's truly beautiful. The way that Athrun is portrayed as Tolle within Kira's dementia (^^'), his hallucinations of Fllay, the way that he finds birds so spectacular, and how he makes those little observations about everything, things that us normal (sane?) people wouldn't see. Like the fact that it's really hard to follow a bird's shadow.

Unreal and beautiful. I tip my hat to you.

The first part was confusing, yes, but it was understandable. I mean, who wouldn't be delusional after seeing your friend dead? But I think that part was well done. Keep it up!
