Wow, that's such a dreadful idea. The stupidly funny thing is that I can totally imagine it happening. Kagome and Inuyasha, and Sango and Miroku, totally getting mixed up and hurt and rejected, and they want to be loved. Rebound. They want to be loved, and then... They found someone that was hurting just as much as they did, who wanted just as much to be loved, and they tried.

Too bad love doesn't come for the asking.

Different idea for a story and makes you kinda of think about the Inu/San relationship.

Wow. Even though I'm a disliker of any other pairing than Kag:Inu and Sango:Miroku [Narrow minded of me, I know] this is a really good one-shot - and a haunting reminder of what might be, and the regrets that people have. The last line is a particularly [* spelling] good punch line- literally. Nice job.

It was kind of confusing. And I still don't really get it...but that could just be me. The writing style was nice though. I think if I re-read it a couple of times I'll understand [no offense, it's just my confuzzled little mind].

So lemmie get this straight. Kagome is married to Miroku but likes Inuyasha. Sango is married to Inuyasha but likes Miroku. Miroku is girlfriended to Kagome but likes Sango. Inuyasha is married to Sango but likes Kagome. And they are just going along with it? Good story, sends your mind in a whirl.

Have you met my other friend larmes de angels? Because oddly enough I've noticed that both of you have this unusual attachment to Inuy/Sang pairings and I was wondering if there was any connection. The quality of writing between the two of you is extraordinary as well. Couldn't be sheer coincidence could it?
Now what I suggest is that you experiment with a Sango/Bankotsu fic *coughjo* *coughey* to relieve the tensions that seem to be driving you to these pairing extremes. This way the angst may be spared for both the writer and the reader and we might all continue to see the updates from our "friendly pairing stories" (GAC, Cacophony, Charade, etc) where Kag/Inuy and Mir/Sang is the ONLY option and we readers don't feel threatened by this radical inuy/sang pairing.
Indeed, I have no idea how to react to this story, but I must say that I'm impressed that you were able to make it worth without any plot holes or oddities. I liked this story because it made sense and it could very well happen in reality... Yet we hope Sango isn't really a conniving backstabbing whorish friend who enjoys ruining other peoples lives including her friend just to preserve her own happiness. Then you would have to start writing about how much she has in common with good-old Kikyo and I'd have plenty to review about.

All in all, well done Windesprite. You've written something fabulous once again.

This was cool... I liked how you didn't reveal the characters until the middle... I looked how open ended it was as well, and mixing up the pairings. A love pentagon! La.

Unusual... not to mention, Sango and Inuyasha would never be able to be in a romantic relationship. They're WAY too much alike.
