I don't know if it was intentional but i noticed the connection with Harry Potter(the boy that lived-the redshirt that lived), and the way he went was ironic made it funnier. The sillyness was great thanks for giving a redshirt a chance, well almost lol XD

As to Fluffy dying I just assumed that when you said they won the karoke contest two days later it was the guy as a singer and the tribble as one of those soft microphone covers... Obviously I read too deep into it! But I thought she died because you said in your user profile that;

'Sadly Fluffy and Baldy have passed away' and I assumed (yet again!) that it was because she was skinned... Just the random workings of a warped mind.
