Kat 8/10/08 . chapter 6 Excellent job! Can't wait to finish reading this story.
I do have to say, as a Catholic, I love the way that you actually know what you're talking about in terms of the religion. The saint lines and Hail Mary lines made my day. |
Xanthe 6/16/08 . chapter 14 Simply one of the best x-men stories I have read. |
TripleLLL 12/19/05 . chapter 14I just cheaked out your bio. wow, just wow.
I'm very sorry about your loss...
Your writing is very good, and I'm glad we both like Wolverine the best. *Isn't he the greatist? LOL*
I'll be sure to cheak out your other stories and look forward to new ones.
Yup, this story ended sad. I wasn't sure whether she had the farmer kill her or if it was pure axident.
Interesting that her love interest was Captin America.
anywho I hope you have a merry X-Mas and a happy new year.
Cheers.

TripleLLL 12/19/05 . chapter 7The date was really fun...
and the talks about her powers were interesting.
I like how you progressed time. Would like a but more envolvment of other X-Men but all and all great chapter. |
TripleLLL 12/19/05 . chapter 6OK, I loved the first few chapters, but I don't know if I'll be reading the rest. Sorry but I hate bible thumping, and I feel like there is way too much christiany stuff, I'm not, I'm also not an athiest.
Good main character, too bad about all the religion.
Oh, and how I do love my Wolvie!
PS, Where did the Kitty loving and wanting Logan come from? |
Cyrus 7/29/05 . chapter 1 Story is well written but the Shadowcat-bashing takes away from it. |
Marnie 7/29/05 . chapter 1 Logan threatening to kill Kitty? As much as I love Jubi I seriously doubt that would happen. Kitty is as close to Logan as Jubilee is. |
Peter Gilles 5/8/05 . chapter 14That was possibly the most poignant story I have ever had the good fortune to read on this website. Not many people can create a genuinely interesting original character in fanfic that the reader shares a real sense of empathy with, but Carolyn was just such character.
Strangely, as soon as I'd read the first two chapters, I had a feeling that it would end as it did. Nevertheless, the tragedy heavied my heart as if I had never expected it in the first place.
Congratulations on a first class story. |
utsuri 4/4/05 . chapter 14*sniffle* You were right about how sad yet happy this story was. Got me all in tears. Which is a good testament to the story. I knew Carolyn would die, but I thought it would be differently, and I sure as heck didn't think she'd be excommunicated. It's so sad how her aunt became like she did, the antithesis of the Church in so many ways.
Speaking of which, it's touching how you've dedicated this story to our most recent Pope. Your the first author I've encountered who has boldly shared her faith. I'm glad you've come back, though, after so many years of being away. Yay! |
sabeybaby 4/4/05 . chapter 14 I really enjoyed reading this story, it makes a person think you know? I thought it was sad that Carolyn had to die, but it was still better in the end. |
Energade 4/4/05 . chapter 14Cool story, please write more! |
dizi 4/3/05 . chapter 14That was so good. She made a difference in everyone's life. Everybody's going to be so happy.
Nah, just kidding. Very good. Touched my heart, Cap really understood her and wouldn't let her go against her beliefs. |
Rilolaki 4/3/05 . chapter 14This was a good story, though the religious aspects sometimes felt heavy-handed. It was neccisary considering your characters' background...but I sometimes felt as though I were sifting to refind the story. In any case, this was well-written, interesting, and it kept my attention as I read it, and I genuinely enjoyed finding the story updated.
So now, the one question I must ask: What are the chances of a sequel? Sure, he body no longer exists, but I am wondering if Captain America ever turned over Carolyn's comb...the one with the fresh DNA on it. Your story did lead into this possibility several times, that Carol could/would be cloned. The storyline of the X-Men being forced to battle their one-time friend would be an interesting read, to say the least. Then there is the thought of what/whose soul would inhabit said clone. If it were Carols, along the lines of "reincarnation", so to speak (for lack of a better term), what would she remember? There are many possibilities that I would love to read. |
Blix Howlett 4/3/05 . chapter 14 Aw, it's sad that Carolyn died, but I'm glad for the impact she had on the entire team. And if Logan's gonna ask 'Ro what I think he is, then yay! Poor Cap though, he lost the love of his life. *sniffle* |
sabeybaby 4/3/05 . chapter 13 I really like your story, update soon! |
