hooray for blanket fics!

I just added this story to my favorites- it's probably the second or third time I've read it. :)

The characters are very nicely done, and genuine, and I like the fact that you've had Ukyo taken care of by Ryoga in a tent in the forest instead of the usual Ryoga being taken care of by Ukyo at her restaurant, although I must admit it wasn't quite believable that she'd just wander off like that and run into Ryoga in the forest by chance. And besides, for it to be that cold, they would have to be in Hokkaido or something, and I kinda doubt that Ukyo went from Tokyo to Hokkaido. :)

Okay, now I'm just being a nit-picker- we'll chalk it up to Ukyo's confused and depressed state at hearing the bad news.

The fact was wonderfully WAFFy, and sometimes you just gotta forego logic and enjoy the good stuff. It was also delightfully optimistic at the end, but not in a sugary way. :) Of course, we all love Ryoga/Ukyo cuddling-by-accident scenes and Ryoga/Ukyo blanket scenarios, so this was a real treat. Very well written and with good descriptions of thoughts and emotions. I especially like this line, which avoids being cheesy against all odds:

Perhaps . . . perhaps, just this once, I'll let the dream overcome me if it wants.

I can just imagine Ryoga dreaming of warmth and a good life when he's all alone, and trying to force himself to remember what's actually the real world.

o.o OMG! *cries* THAT WAS SO CUTE! *sniff* I loved it - specially the lil cuddling part in the tent...the awwness..I love cuddles...I WISH I HAD SOMEONE LIKE RYOGA! WAH!.. o.o;; ... .; uh...you din hear me say that..*turns into a lil puppy and runs off*

i liked this fanfic. personally because all my friends call me Ryoga and the girl i like well, we named her Ukyo -. great story.

Damn good story. I was searching the older stories on the Ranma section of FFN and this gem caught my eye. nice to see these occasonally. Wish you'd write a multi-Chaptered Ryouga/Ukyo Story.
