Vamp Charisma 2007-01-25 ch 2,	abuseOh my gosh! This is crazy. I had to take a double-take with the second chapter because I was like, this looks exactly the same! Then it changes with Cordy's appearance. This took skill. I like the setup and will continue reading! Great job!
Whiskey 2007-01-11 ch 37,	abuseI really liked this story. It was entertaining and I actually felt compelled to read it through to the conclusion - which I don't often do with novel length fics. Couple of things that bothered me a little though: - You seem a little distracted with describing everyone's hair colour. It becomes a bit comical after a while. It might be nice if the physical descriptions were varied a little. Or if you just used the character's names instead of the physical feature when referring to them. - Cordy and Angel seemed to be locked in the same 'Cordy stay back!", "No Angel I have superpowers and I can fight" argument the whole way through. It got a bit boring after a while. It would have been nice if the relationship had developed a bit. - A lot of what happened seemed to be a rehash of what already went on in the series. Not just the flashbacks, but the emotional beats, and the way the characters fell back on previous experience so much to solve their current problems. Characters seemed to be learning lessons that they had already learned on the show. - All problems seemed to be solved with Cordy's powers. It felt at times as though the others may as well not be there. But on the upside: - The twist with Angel being in hell at the beginning was very cool. - It was C/A and there just isn't enough of that. - The dialog was all well in character. - Ilyria spending all that time watching over Wesley was disturbingly touching. - I really liked the Reiff/Rondel dynamic. Good thinking bringing those two together. - Throwing a scene with Angel, Buffy and Anne in the mix was nice. - Dawn being distracted by Connor and the following dialog with Xander was just adorable. - The brief bonding between Angel and Xander was very nice. Lanta 2006-08-03 ch 37,	abuseI can't believe I haven't read this before. I mean, I love your CSI fics. Well I have finally read it, and I love it. It has all the things I like in an Angel story - Angel/Cordy, presence of Faith, Willow, Spike, Buffy and Illyria... okay no Fred etc but that's understandable! A good plot, well written... My only complaint is the final chapter, having Cordy lose her powers! But it's nice at the same time, having her give them up so Angel could Shanshu. All in all, great story, and I hope you write more Angel/Cordy in the future.

hoggle75 2006-07-29 ch 37,	abuseJust awesome.I have read it from beginning to end and just think you hit the mark so well. One of the things Angel always wanted was to be human again. So many episodes in both BTVS and ATS dealt with that. When they killed Cordy for good in 'You're Welcome' I was devestated. I love how you handled their characters and your storyline. Thank you for completing it. Well Done!
Louvil 2006-07-29 ch 37,	abuseYou had me there. I was worried sick that you were going the "big sacrifice" road,Cordy leaving Angel alone with his newfound humanity. I was like "No! Not again! I read that a million times!It sucks!" Btch! Anyway,it was a great ride!Wow! I'm glad the story's ending well.All these characters fought hard to win.They deserve some peace and happiness. I'm not a C/A shipper (No vampire/anyone ship for me.I prefer breathing characters.) but if Cordy wants him,it's fair that she got him at last.She worked very hard to.And he's human now,so... Angel can be pretty sweet when he's not behaving like a jerk or an idiot.G* (ducks quickly to avoid 'virtual'-Thank God!-slaps!) This story was a real success.I enjoyed it from beginning to end! Thanks again for a great read. I hope you will give us something else to read in the close future.

That was all beautiful, I thought for a moment that Cordy traded herself to become a Higher Power in order for Angel to become human, I was scared there because I thought Angel would've been all alone again but you proved me wrong! new2fanfic 2006-07-28 ch 1, anon.	abusehm? The whole deal with Angel is that he is never at peace. so a little weird to finally find him so. Think it could have had a little more of that great comic banter before launching into the misery. Just a thought. Nice opening though, love to read the explaination for Cordy being alive and Connor being well two and a half. Also I doubt that Angel would ever feel that he'd redeemed himself so there has to be a little more focus on that... Fairly well written, I'm interested. Goodluck

YOUPIN 2006-07-28 ch 37,	abuseIt was a perfect ending to a beautiful story.I have to admit I was a bit scared thinking that Cordy had to go back but I loved that the two of them get to be human and together.My eyes got moist at the end and I wish you could do a standalone so we get a glimpse of how everything is with Angel and Cordy with the new changes in their lives.I hope you continue writing and I wish you all the best with your future endeavours.
