Yes, Yes, YES! THAT. WAS. AMAZING! It is now 4:04 AM and I have just spent the last couple of hours reading this and I can honestly say that it was time well spent. Let's step away from the Angel/Cordelia pairing (which I love) and the snarky but oh so hilarious comments from Spike (which I love just as much) and focus on the one thing: the fact that this story was epic.

I have no idea if you had it planned out this way from the beginning, or just a general outline, but Jesus did it flow effortlessly. I mean I got chills, several times in fact, while reading and felt as if I was reading the script to what should have been the last season. Everything was perfect. And I loved that you didn't really make a happily ever after, that wouldn't have made any type of sense nor would it have fit with the Buffy/Angel universe. If there was one thing Buffy and Angel (the shows) were good at it was surprising you with character deaths that made viewers gasp and cry out. I did both while reading this. Andrew, in all his quirky oddities, was so sad and though I don't remember much of Kennedy from the show I did tear up when Tara came back to "anchor" Willow. God that was lovely.

Oh and the characterization was just spot on. I have no idea how you managed to properly and accurately capture the personalities of lets say 20 different people as you did, but you gave Joss Whedon a run for his money. I was thoroughly impressed with sayings, mannerisms, and even the references to older episodes of both shows. That took lots of research and planning and I am very much in awe of it all.

Brilliant! Pure brilliance! I would request, beg, plea, and cry out for a sequel but the ending to this was just so great I have no idea what more could be added. In any case, well done, it was a marvelous read!

Ok so...this was spectacular! I stumbled across it three days ago and the last two nights I feel asleep while reading it. I know how that sounds, but it was in NO WAY boring it was just like three in the morning and I couldn't stay awake anymore :P The work got in the way and I couldn't seem to find time to finish this thing. I even dreamt about it the first night. I was so very impressed with this work. I finished it early this morning and had to let it digest before reviewing. It was a very filling story and I didn't just want to give you a stupid two line review.

This story worked for SO many reasons. The action was amazing, the characters were so damn spot on that not once, NOT ONCE, did I have to be like "he/she wouldn't say that." Congradulations. That is an extraordinary feat. The Cangel was sweet without being sappy and Cordelia was assertive with just the right amount of bitchiness. In a website loaded with stories yours was the Goldilocks fit. Everything in it was JUST RIGHT. The way you write emotions and the feelings every. single. chapter. evoked from me was astonishing. I was laughing and then crying and then having a "dear go no!" moment every. freaking. chapter. They were all so good. Your story was just so good. Your ideas were amazing. I even cried when Kennedy died and i HATE Kennedy.

Then of course you brought in Spike. He is my favorite character. I was so happy that he was able to jump on this band wagon. His moments with Buffy were glorious, his fight with the dragon, epic. I just loved it. All of it. I know I keep repeating myself I just can't wrap my head around the magnitude of this story. Faith was perfect. I was very happy to see her one liners. Especially the holding hands with Willow line. It was like reading an episode script. It made me miss all those characters. It made me wish to God above that the comics had gone this route...it was just pure poetry...start to finish. I couldn't have asked for more in a fanfiction (other than Spike living, but I'll survive) Thank you so much for writing this.

It blew me away. Well that is all i've got...please keep wrting. You are too wonderful to keep it to yourself.

Now is what I was wating for! It should have happened (as many other things too) on the show a lot more often... It's awesome and pretty nifty, huh? LoL.

I'm loving this story more and more, yeah... ).

... Now se... This is what could have happened if Joss hadn't given up on the show. When he killed Cordy off he ultimately killed the show off... Uggh.

Oh my gosh! This is crazy. I had to take a double-take with the second chapter because I was like, this looks exactly the same! Then it changes with Cordy's appearance. This took skill. I like the setup and will continue reading! Great job!

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and I actually felt compelled to read it through to the conclusion - which I don't often do with novel length fics.

Couple of things that bothered me a little though:

- You seem a little distracted with describing everyone's hair colour. It becomes a bit comical after a while. It might be nice if the physical descriptions were varied a little. Or if you just used the character's names instead of the physical feature when referring to them.

- Cordy and Angel seemed to be locked in the same 'Cordy stay back!", "No Angel I have superpowers and I can fight" argument the whole way through. It got a bit boring after a while. It would have been nice if the relationship had developed a bit.

- A lot of what happened seemed to be a rehash of what already went on in the series. Not just the flashbacks, but the emotional beats, and the way the characters fell back on previous experience so much to solve their current problems. Characters seemed to be learning lessons that they had already learned on the show.

- All problems seemed to be solved with Cordy's powers. It felt at times as though the others may as well not be there.

But on the upside:

- The twist with Angel being in hell at the beginning was very cool.

- It was C/A and there just isn't enough of that.

- The dialog was all well in character.

- Ilyria spending all that time watching over Wesley was disturbingly touching.

- I really liked the Reiff/Rondel dynamic. Good thinking bringing those two together.

- Throwing a scene with Angel, Buffy and Anne in the mix was nice.

- Dawn being distracted by Connor and the following dialog with Xander was just adorable.

- The brief bonding between Angel and Xander was very nice.
