Why not try making up an event wherein there jolly moment was interrupted, requiring one of them to leave the other for just a moment, then, before he/she leaves, he/she whispers to his/her lover's ear the words, "Don't worry, we'll have more of these summer rains to enjoy, just wait and never lose faith, we are meant for each other, I tell, meant for each other..." :)
