I love the story! Most people just rush their characters into relationships, so I like how you're dragging everything out, putting doubts and such around. It's refreshing.

Throughout the whole story, the way you made the characters grow and mature was amazing. It felt REAL.

At first, I thought this story would be a story where Riku and Sora's love will prevail anything, like some other stories(though I'm a fan of them).

You made the characters develop realistically, and it made me connect to them. I love it! The way you made Sora madly in love with Riku at first and slowly the fire just dimmed, well, that was amazing.

You made this story a perfect example on finally finding 'the one' isn't the love that you're looking for. And that sometimes relationships don't work out for the best.

I simply LOVE this story.

what i hate: god, i seriously doubt the sincerity of Riku's half-assed confession (that blah blah he still loves sora and that blah roxas is the freaking rebound what not blah) because if he's going to act the same way he did post the last roxas/him break up he's going to have 'rebound-seeker' attached onto his bloody name.

what i love: i absolutely love this fic, the realism in some of the sequences are what some authors find hard to capture but you have done it so well, i'm like literally left bawling. pooh.

i hope sora ends up with cloud (i am sadistic enough to read this for the sora/riku and end up wanting sora/someone better and riku...well riku deserves...blah) and er, maybe i've looked over it but...where is axel?

When you said that the Kirsten chapter was in loving memory, do you mean Sora's mom is based on a real person who had that happen? Because even just reading it broke my heart, and I can only imagine what it was like to live it. *hug*
Onto the actual review.
I. Am. Madly in love with this fic.
I have ALWAYS loved Jones Soda and wondered what it would be like to meet someone I knew from the bottle. It's sort of like a message-in-a-bottle, but better!
And the characterization is...well, they're not like they are in the game, but it still fits so well, and just...gah!
Absolutely looking forward to more.
