Beautifully written... again. The life of a ninja is harsh, it doesn't really get pulled off too much in the series except for at really pivotal moments. Creeping horror, if what it was. You can feel the emotions slide over you slowly, it's much more effective than a brick in the face xD

Wow, this is amazing. Not that shallow 'oh-look-you-wrote-something-nice' condescending type of amazing but actually amazing. The atmosphere fits perfectly and it even got to the point that when I blinked, I saw someone on fire. Flesh on. Flesh off. Flesh on. Flesh off.

Even with the quick intro for Kurenai, it was awesome. I started hearing people screaming. Great job. :D
