nljfs 2009-10-30 . chapter 7Oh, I enjoyed the story. As I've enjoyed every one of your stories that I've read so far. I'm glad you wrote them!

aimdiscord@hotmail.com 2009-09-05 . chapter 3 Ah! Another great chapter! Cassandra was a great character in Highlander. I was exasperated with her, from the first moment she came on screen, talking to Duncan about his "prophecy"... Maybe that episode covered his prophecy. Maybe it didn't. Cassandra shouldn't have been so crazy and pushy. But dang, you have done an outstanding, stupendous job of explaining WHY she would act this way... so suddenly... after thousands of years. I always thought - "She's had 20 years to get over this. Memories fade over time!" But if Cassandra was placed into Azkaban, it actually makes sense. Dementors "punished in relation to how much you had already been hurt, rather than in relation to how much harm you had caused." Perfect line. When you put it that way, I can see that Cassandra would change, after wizarding prison! For the first time, the crossover makes much more sense than the original. |
aimdiscord@hotmail.com 2009-09-05 . chapter 2 "Sybil and the house elf had each very tentatively offered suggestions of what should or could be done and the other always agreeing with relief that they hadn't had to make that decision." Great line! I have never thought of Sybil in this way. You have given her the BEST HISTORY of any fanfiction involving Sybil Trelawney. Best. Absolutely. And I love the part about the house-elf needing directions, and Sybil ... also... needing directions. They were so totally needy, that they leaned on each other and fell down. |
Reader in the Corner 2009-08-16 . chapter 7HermionexSnape romance is not what I expected. This chapter is a bit confusing, jumping between times when Adam is there and who knows how long later when he is, as well as Snape's monologue and conversations with Hermione. Was the irony in Snape, a character from the Harry Potter books, rambling about how he envied the perfect lives of book characters intentional? A very enjoyable story, especially Adam's humor and Hermione's philosophy discussions. |
Mallie 2009-07-20 . chapter 7I actually like that this had a rather open ending. Usually I don't; I want to know what happened damn it, how it all turned out, but somehow for this story it worked. |
Mallie 2009-07-20 . chapter 4My, this is all getting rather intense, isn't it? And soon apparently Cassandra will be added to the mix.
Times will be getting intesting at Hoqwarts. |
Mallie 2009-07-20 . chapter 2Severus Snape and Sybill Trelawney, friends. And you made it plausible. This is a more balanced and understandable Trelawney than we usually get to see. I liked the look into her past, it explains alot. |
Mallie 2009-07-20 . chapter 1Um, yeah, so I just reviewed 'Death and Betrayal' and gushed about how I hoped you'd do a sequel. If I'd had sense enough to check your profile I'd have seen it's already written.
So, Sybil is terrified of Methos (who Hermione sees as cute)and has been having nightmares of him for years.
Severus has finally found a way to stop Hermione from carrying the rest of the Gryffindors through Potions.
And Dumbledore 's taking an apprentice.
I also enjoyed the explanation of the true meaning of 'mudblood'. Very interesting.
Off to read the next chapter. |
 Zuzanny 2009-01-12 . chapter 7Very nice. :) |
Phoenix Flight 2008-09-16 . chapter 7 Wow! I first read this ages ago. I think it might have been one of the very first few highlander stories I ever read, and it didn't really make much sense to me. Then I got into HL and mostly forgot about it except that I thought it was probably really ooc since I hadn't understood it and it was so very intense. Now I just reread it and was blown away! I love your portrayals of Methos! Whoo! Your stuff is so intense! And awesome! And did I mention intense?
I can't wait for the sequel to Square Peg in a Round Hole, by the way. |
Barranca 2008-07-23 . chapter 7Thank you for making Hermione think for herself, even though she had to experience the cruelness of the world for that. Reading one of your fics I often think - yes, this is what life really is like. But you do manage to find the honey core about all those bitter mouthfuls. Or at least pragmatize them away - if that's even a word :P |
Eliza 2008-05-23 . chapter 7 You are fucking awesome. FTMFW. |
AiSard 2008-05-05 . chapter 7I liked how you introduced the idea of fiction, that there is a defined beginning and end etc, and tying it into this fic, of how the beginning began some three millenia ago and the end is unknown. Rather than a plot with defined beginning and end, it was like a look into the reality that was the wizarding world.. breathing reality into a story, devoid of cliches and cues, and left with this confusing thing, this pointless existence, that we call life.
Anyways, I had atfirst expected a proper plot or something with Methos and Cassandra in the wizarding world but am content with the explanations you gave for what 'really' happened and the ending. |
Inarae 2008-05-01 . chapter 2Okay, I have to stop before finishing the story to tell you I love the mudblood explaination. |
 Gozen V 2008-02-24 . chapter 7absolutely amazing
this story is profound and true to the mannersisms of the world in counteless ways. It is stunning and it reminds me of reality and of the unreal at the same time |
