I cant believe he ( Maximus ) died like that in real life and the movie, they couldve made an alternate ending to soothe my imagination! XD Its horribly, and I really hoped that only Commodus would be the only one to die, as well as Lucious being Maximus son. Boy, if only that had happened. D

I was just watching Gladiator on tv after reading this fic and during the scene when Lucius sees Maximus through the cell before the first fight at the colluseum I can well believe that this exact idea was what they were trying to convey with the look that passed between them.

Very cool, making Lucius Maximus' child, that adds so much to the unspoken love between them. I love this movie, and you do a very nice job of expressing simple feelings. Keep up the good work. Eve
