Man, I liked this. This is an awfully dark story, throws the Garden's original high-minded ideals of raising SeeDs to defeat the Sorceress straight out the window. All the SeeDs, save Zell, have this ruthless edge about them - it's almost scary. First time I've seen such a characterization of them, pretty refreshing, but a little jarring. Squall is as much of a jerk as he is in the game if not more, so I don't really mind. (I don't like Squall, no offence.) I can't wait for the next chapters. Just a side note: when I started reading this about an hour ago, there were no reviews, and now there are two of them.

Woo Hoo... goin' great so far. Can't wait for the rest!

ACK! I only made it to chapter 9 before I realised that I should be in bed! This is really really really interesting. I'm hooked. Though I have questions... I also don't think that Cid and Edea are the type of people to do that to children (since they started SeeD and all...). Anyway... I can't believe no one else has reviewed this yet... Wow.
