This was a intensely detailed moving story. I loved it. I almost read it in one go. I read the first 17 chapters last night and the remaining ones this afternoon.

All the characters felt real. You really captured who they are. The Rodney whumping was so well done. It was heartbreaking. I felt for Kezan. He wasn't just a one dimensional character.

I like that McKay decided to destroy the storage device as a way to set Kezan free and that Sheppard helped him do it.

I am going to read more of your work.

Wow, loved this story so much, even if the name 'Kazen' drove me crazy with familiarity until you pointed out he was from 'Cube'. n.n Loved to the death the ending chapter with the burning of the paper ship of Rodney's medical records, beautiful imagery that. Very well done.

(I'm re-reading this because it was nominated for the Stargate Fan Awards - congrats, by the way! - and kicking myself because, apparently, I never reviewed! Shame on me!)

Very well done story. Nice job on the emotional complications and angst, what with everyone thinking McKay had simply gone nuts. The moral implications of Kezan's "life" were also treated well. And, since it's freshest in my memory, the last chapter was really great in the friendship aspect. :-)

Just finished re-reading this for the fanfic awards. Ah, like jumping into a warm bubble bath at the end of a cold, windy day! It's still one of the best stories I've read. Great dialogue and descriptions--a perfect balance that doesn't sacrifice one for the other. You know when to let actions speak for the characters, even just a little look or gesture says so much about how they're feeling. Instead of six paragraphs of "telling," you "show" in a line or a simile. I love it and am so happy that it was nominated this year. Good luck!

This fic was recommended to me by a friend and I have to thank her for doing it and you for writing this wonderful story!:-) Rodney is my favorite character from SGA so I felt very much for him troughout the whole story. I especially liked the way you have written Radek (a fellow Czech;-)), so friendly, wise and strong, and I am glad that he had such a big part in this fic. The ending brought tears to my eyes. It was really sad, touching and at the same time beautiful. I am looking forward to reading your other stories too, this one was the best recommendation for them.:-)

SGA Storyfinders strikes again. This was wonderful. I've not read this before, I thought I had read all of your great stories, but apparently not. I think you did a splendid job with McKay and Sheppard and really all of the characters. I do not see anything beyond good and true friendship in this story, which is really the way it should be. This last chapter was exquisite, in my opinion. John and Rodney make good friends and their trust in one another is ultimately what saved Rodney and hopefully gave Kezan some measure of peace, finally. This is going to my Favorites. Thanks so much for sharing.
