I love the fact that it's from Devils's view point, since that's really rare.

Very nice. It's a bit short, but it's interesting, I haven't seen many fics written from Devil's point of view.

Nice narration on the story, the repetition of the word "child" adds a paradoxical bit of vice and compassion. I don't see anything wrong with this chapter, aside from a lack of dailogue, but it's understandable as Kazuya is barely alive and Devil is describing the horrible scene.

I liked the way your words flowed.

"You can not climb, child; your salvation is blocked by natural geography, as if the Gods themselves wished you dead."

It would be interesting to see Kazuya's point of view in all this. Maybe in chapter 2?

Ooh, you're very tricky. I really liked the interesting narration-the observation was distant, yet personal. Those little asides aren't something seen often, but I always enjoy them when they are there. And then we discover Devil is watching and narrating. So fitting.
