Where, oh, where do I begin? First, I think you did a lovely job giving Miroku's grandparents a personality that is never stated explicitly in neither the anime nor the manga. The entire concept of a princess putting love before duty is entirely feasible... 'tis rather ironic, looking back, that Sango's doing that exact thing. For some reason, I always looked forward to watching Miroku and Sango's eyes change color. That mental image of brown fading to blue and back again will be with me for the rest of the afternoon. ^^

And, of course, you did an excellent job paralleling what Miyatsu and Marise did to what Miroku and Sango did. Funny how Mir-kun thought Sango would forget; somehow, I think he'd prefer it if she didn't. And a thanks goes out to you for having good spelling and grammar skills, save for the occasional forgotten space, and for bringing the entire story into full circle.

Perhaps the one line that I'm really going to take from this fic, though, is this: "'No,' he said under his breath, wondering what on earth he did to deserve her." At this point, between being blown away by your (superior) writing skills and the emotion that was charged throughout the entire story, I was near tears. That bit very nearly pushed me over the edge. :`D

Ah, never stop writing, Aprill May-sama. I can't wait for your next fanfiction. Once more, thank you for this. It made me unbelievably happy. ((bows))

What a great story. (happy sigh) Your writing is so intense and raw, it's like crack. I find myself craving it. With this fic, for starters, the story is great. It's original and completely captivating. Also, your descriptions and talent made me feel right there and I forgot that I was even reading. Great story, I really liked it.

I... wow. I don't know how you do it, May, but you're really good. I don't even know how to describe what I feel when I read this. It's so beautiful despite the sadness in it...
