It's a terrific poem and I've added it to my recommended HP links pages. Btw you've got a typo - "note merely blood with blood" looks as if it should be "not merely blood with blood."

If you're still looking fot an alternative title, how about Consumption (which is of course the old name for TB, as well as being what fire does)?

How dare you flame Eliza! She's a nice person and a good writer! I LOVE her stories. So what they may be Mary Sue-ish, but who gives a darn? Don't be rude. And what you said had nothing good in it in my friend's Kathleen Potter's fic, and plus, only a MADE UP character can be a Mary Sue! So there! No one asked you! How could a Harry/Hermione *and if your a TRUE fan and read the books PLENTY of times like Kathleen Potter and I have* you'd know that they are ORIGINAL Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling Characters. Oh, brilliant! I really hope you do continue this soon. I love your poetry. Especially your descriptions of Tom Riddle and Voldemort- "Cold beauty disfigured by hatred." I think it's kind of obvious that I'm an avid Tom Riddle supporter too...

You may be continuing this, but I am putting it on my favorites list for the poetry alone. That was really amazing . . . wow. The words you use are so descriptive, like "withered veins"--even by without the rest of the poetry, those two words gave me a full image. This seems like it should be published. It's so wonderful! I can't believe you don't think this is good. I think that you have just lowered my self-esteem, considering that this poem is infinitely better than mine. But I forgive you because of your poetry. Usually when I read poetry I like to go through and try and remember my favorite lines, but here I would have to memorize the whole poem. Although I did particularly like "Red chilling to blue under flickering eyelids", and the whole third and fourth verses. I am very much looking forward to reading the rest of the series . . . please continue!
