This story is four years old, and I was lucky enough to stumble across it. I was getting tired of the first page...I am happy to have found this. This took me there, and I loved it. I breathed in the air, ran through the plains, watched the stars above me, right along with Hector. And what a great Hector you write. I recently told a friend that it's easy to write a good Hector, but hard to write one that is memorable in such a way that other characterizations seem wrong. I think you did that, to me Hector was everything he should be in this story. It had very melancholy feel to it as well, this is one of those small, rare tales that makes me feel peace and a sense of loss at the same time. These fics touch on my emotions deeply and give me a lot to reflect on. These are my favorite stories to read, they make me feel somewhat twisted inside, and I'm pleased to have read yours. Beautifully written! I like the rational tone the entire thing has. Love Hector's love-lorn musings, the I-want-to-but-it'd-be-better-if-I-don't-but-I-still-do-it's-all-for-the-better-good-etc. kind of stuff that people in love are prone to have running through their heads. It's anguishing and heart-breaking, but one I believe can't be avoid forever. Poor Hector. Wish Lyn would give him a hug, but that'd be detrimental for his health as it is, I think. Double poor Hector! *pats his head*

This was exceptional. You should be proud. It's a couple of years old, but it was definitely well-written. I enjoyed reading it a lot. Hector sure is complex, isn't he? It's too bad there isn't more to this.

I read this very carefully, and I notcied how Lyn's expression and tone of voice were described. I think... I think she's just afraid, too. Afraid of the same things Hector is, perhaps.

Beautiful fic. Skillfully written. I really love your take on Hector/Lyn, though the unrequited love thing is really painful. Just a suggestion though, if you were to write a sequel (we readers hope you would), you could do it in Lyn's perspective. Aww I do hope they end up together!

It's really nice how you wrote the fic. It's really different from what usual Lyn/Hector authors write. This fic's really unique. Excellent work!

Oh wow. This is...beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. Everything fits right into place perfectly, except for Hector calls Lyn Lyn, rather than Lyndis. This story is breathtaking; the beauty of it--it's just so well written, especially the last sentence. It is both romantic and very poetic.

Excellent work. This is one of the most beautiful Fire Emblem stories I've seen so far.

Aww, poor Hector...You portrayed him well. Him shut up in a castle, her heart bound to Sacae, it's the perfect star-crossed lovers scenario.

Very, *very* nice. It is very rare for us to see Hector actually care about another person's feelings over his own, especially when that person is a girl, but you pulled it off in a way I would never expect. A fresh perspective on the Hector/Lyn pairing, and a story that I would definitely recommend to any other author on this site.

One question though: Does Lyn actually like him, or not? :P
