Another beautiful fic. I don't know how you do it- I'm just glad you do, I've yet to read a fic of yours that I haven't liked. You have an incredible talent for writing.

Interesting story; I like it, and I'm glad that Cameron is standing up to him and her resolves. I'm not saying that in the two weeks she won't break down, but it's possible. House is House, and well, I guess we can't expect anything more from him. *sigh*

All right, I'm trying to remember Chapter 23 of Jane Eyre (my favorite book of all time, but I've never actually bought it :(), and I'm coming up with a blank. Would that be that be the chapter where they're out in the rainstorm? Oh, because if that's in, than this is good, really good. If you don't get it, good read Jane Eyre, amazing story. Plus, Jane Eyre has a happy ending for all parties.

Lovely story and I love the Jane Eyre reference.

This is a wonderfully written piece. You such a good job keeping them in character that I could actually hear their voices in my head. I can't wait to see where this story goes, if you plan to continue it.

Very tender and touching, and I became all misty-eyed! Enjoyed Cameron's outburst about House not having the right to be unhappy about her departure, and House fumbling for something to give, very angsty making the reader shout "just say you like her dammit!"

This is strong enough to stand by itself, but of course I would like very much to know what will happen in the next two weeks!

Oh bless you, you like Jane Eyre! :) That's my favorite novel of all time.

This is very, very well done, by the way. If you do not continue, I will surely weep.

It was strange...but it appealed to the poet in me. It wasn't quite in character but I got the feeling that wasn't really what it was for. Kind of, like mirrors of the characters. It was good though. Excellent actually. Incredibly well written. :) Has kind of a calming effect. Keep it up!

Yes...that scene in the garden definatly reminded me of Jane Eyre in the garden with Mr. Rochester telling her he's sending her away... and then the storm that breaks the chestnut tree. Lovely writting I do hope there will be more chapters in this story as there really are too few good House/Cameron fics out there.

Damn that was amazing. Lyrical and heartbreakingly beautiful. The way you described the setting was perfect. As was the interaction between the two of them. Very much in character. I'm glad House realized he didn't want her to go but he has no idea what he could offer. And Cameron... just beautiful the way you wrote her too. About her past and what may lie ahead.

"How is it that the girl who strove for perfection, the top of her class, the highest scores, the prettiest, nicest girl, had absolutely nothing to show for any of her hard work."

So heartbreaking and true. I loved the usage of Peter Pan and Tennyson and Arnold. Very lovely.

“Although I do get you for the next two weeks. A lot can happen in a short space of time.”

And I certainly hope it does! Can't wait to read more, this was brilliant. :)

Wow. . i'm speechless (except i still have to compliment you xD)

the writing is abosolutely beautiful, especially in the beginning, the way you described the setting and incorporated that into the mood, it was perfect.

I went back up to look at the category, which says Romance. it seemed so angsty to me, but it still made me smile. i'm so glad you wrote this, i hope there's more. but this'll stand on its own even as a one-shot.

basiacally. . I love it!!
