I liked it... The fight was very well written, I think, very believable, and you really got me scared: I honestly thought Selina was dead in the begining of the story.

Anyway, the end was, well, happy, maybe too happy for Batman, but that's just an opinion. Nothing wrong with it, I guess. I'm just a fan of tragical Batman, that's all, but I'm also a big fan of Batman/Catwoman romance, so it balanced for me.

It's a good story, really. Good work, I enjoyed it very much.

Nice writing, first of all. Of course, I'm also a sucker for any kind of Catwoman-kicks-ass scene, and I love the dynamics between her and Batman (which you did very, very well: "Let it never be said that Catwoman was a hero." and the following lines have her perfectly).

My only gripe (and it is pretty minor, seeing as much worse things have been done to the character, and let us only reference the atrocity that was 'Batman Forever') is that Bane is not so much of a brute. Or he is, but in the works I've read, he's been more of a smooth talker (let of the bold: 'I crush you now!' kind of lines), possessing not only with a good deal of strength, but with certain cunning too.

Also, I suppose I didn't like his taunting Batman with the idea of raping Catwoman--I haven't read enough pieces with Bane in them to judge whether that's within his character range or not, but I would think it wouldn't be: Bane does sleep around a lot, but I generally wouldn't think he'd be one to use rape as a taunting device (though if I'm wrong, please correct me, it'd be good for future reference). I would think that Bane's mocking Catwoman's fight and how he beat her would be more of his style.

However, I'd like to reiterate: nicely done.

GREAT story! I absolutely LOVE it! You write Batman's character so well! And the imagery is flawless!
