Yay! A Cliff x Mirage fic! I love this pairing. And you pull it off so well. Even if Mirage is a little OOC (and like you said, it was years ago and people can change a lot in a few years). I'd always wanted to know more about their past, and I love the way you wrote it. Can't wait for future chapters!

Cliff was PERFECTLY in character this chapter! Oh wow, this is so great! I'm totally 100% enjoying this story to the fullest...

I loved the part where Cliff was trying "to think clean" and he "conjured up some dirty mental pictures involving a shower". That made me laugh.

All through this, I've been trying to get a clean picture in my mind. The Fight was very vivid. All the punches, kicks, everything was really good! Your description jumped up my about a thousand. *hehe* It's amazing.

First off I applaud you for not being like some block-heads who pair up people like Fayt x Albel, Fayt x Cliff (which seems to be a popular one...X_X), or Cliff x Albel.

Personally, I really do like Mirage and Cliff together! There are so few people who even see that couple as a possibility (cause they're blind!). Cliff happens to be my favorite character, and I'll say you're playing him pretty well in Character. Sure, he'd totally underestimate Mirage! He's Cliff--why wouldn't he? (Mr. Overconfident!)

But yes, I love the story line. With a little more description, it could be absolutely perfected. For a couple of those lines (Ex. "Scar-ee!") I could actually hear Cliff's voice in my head. ^^

i loved this fic it was great you don't see an of good cliff Marage fics i myself am caught between cliff nell and cliff marage but i love them both i noticed too in your bio ur into some kickass stuff i love garth nix books shades children rocked and so did the Sabreil trioligy i love final fantasy too you did a great job with charictors too they are perfect i can so see marage young and feisty like that and eventually maturing through their time together i really like this fic so i a Going to put it in my C2 any other stories that fit my C2 terms and welcomed too i love you writing i will keep in tough and i agree yaoi and Yuri are repulsive
