...That was really good (and long). By far one of the greatest fanfictions I've ever read. I liked how you showed Rin's life progressing, and I really loved the end when life continued. Although it was sad to see time progress, It really brought out a reality that isn't seen very often in any fanfiction involving Sesshomaru and Rin. I could see this actually happening between Rin and Sesshomaru.
You kept the characters very much In Character and made the story fit within the time it takes place.

Wow. I'm surprised that you're not one of those writers that become wildly popular, because judging by this fic, you write high quality, well thought out, in character stories. (Guess that shows that the majority of Inuyasha readers could care less about that, *sigh*). I like how you write things that are so different from what I would expect from a Sess/Rin pairing, and I loved how you did it. I esp. like your version of how Rin grew up, how you handled her menstruating.

I normally stay away from death and angst fics, but you were under the favorites of a writer I like, so I clicked on you. So glad I did. Very, very well done. I didn't cry, but you did tug at my heart strings. I would have wished for more warmth between Sess and Rin, but that was the point of this fic, I think. To regret what could have been, and let the reader hope for something better at the end. Right?

Excellent oneshot, and this is getting a slam dunk in my favorites as well. The amount of effort you put into crafting this was well appreciated. =)

And if you were to elaborate on this story, then I'd feel sorry for Michi because, who knows? Sesshomaru might compare her to Rin, and she might never live up to Rin's shadow. And I feel really horrible for Sesshomaru, I mean she was like his daughter! and I was srsly crying when she said she wanted to leave him and age 18 D: I wouldn't wanna leave him EVER. You have really great point of views, and I enjoy reading your stories, though one is a bit goth like and scary, but I mean that what angst is right? You have talent, and if you don't update, I'm stealing your soul. >.>

I'm sniffling as I type this. Very powerful and poetic. This is a wonderful illustration of devotion.

To be honest with you, I think calling this simply 'beautiful' would be nearly an insult, seeing as how much of an obscenely blatant understatement that is. Even gorgeous falls short... I don't really know what else to say about it, since I'm sure you know you've done an absolutely amazing job with this. I was so glad to've found something so wonderful to read, though! It really was amazingly written, and your talent is awe-striking.

All I can say is this fanfic made me cry. A fanfic has never really truly had me have tears running down my cheeks before. It was good. Good is insubstantial but... Well you get the message. This truly desrves to be a favorite.
