What a fantastic piece of angst and drama. I loved the words you chose to describe Hermione's feelings of loss; they were both poetinc and heart-breaking. It's also great the way you portrayed Hermione going after books again, the desperation she tries to find a solution and the emptiness she feels. Snape's portraying was also very good. In short, this story touched me (I cried and that's not usual in me) a lot.
