"Because he wants to make me miserable."

That was one of the best reveals I've read (by that I mean way of revealing House's true feelings). This was a great chapter, and House was very in character. Another thing I liked (and this was just a little part): I was struck by how much the bit with Chase announcing House and then giving him a look seemed like a real snapshot from the show.

Go House! I really don't like Stacy, no not really. Anyway, excellent fic! Loved it!

I feel that I must compliment you--nay, that it would be a great disrespect to both I and you if I did not give you my congratulations on this wonderful story, for how much it is worth (my opinion, not the story).
I find that the story you have written captures the essence of the show perfectly, and having found only one other House/Cameron story on this site that does that, I feel that you deserve the utmost of praise and accolades as the stupendous writer you are. For, I at least, have found that it is extremely hard to keep House in character when trying to pair him up with a romance, mainly due to the fact that people tend to have him come out with his emotions all to fast and all to openly [And, let's face it, that's not something House would ever do ;) ]
On another note, I found the concept of you giving Cameron a cane as well to be a unique plot-device (suprisingly, since I would think that more people would have used the concept to death by now in an attempt to create a scenario in which House could begin to relate to someone romantically because of a similar handicap as he) and I find that you portray it excellently.

You have all my respect and admiration, for what it may be worth, for writing this short mini-series/series, and I look avidly forward to reading the sequel.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. You never disappoint, you know that? This chapter covered an incredible amount of ground beautifully. The introduction of Stacy was very well done. I'm really looking forward to the next chapters - something tells me they're going to be good ones!
