Awesome fic - very unique perspective, richly detailed and well told. Shame you don't have any more Mummy fics because this one is excellent.

I know this was written 7 years ago, but I still think it appropriate to review this, since I totally LOVED this fic.

I was so seriously hoping you'd do the rest of the scenes from Daniels's perspective until he...well, kicks the bucket. But all this was enough too. XD Daniels is actually my favorite of all the Mummy movie franchise characters, and it's SO painfully rare that I come across a terrific fic that contains him, much less centers on him entirely. You have his personality of heart, mind and spirit down pat perfectly in my opinion. It's totally awesome. Great job on it. :)

Wow. You did an awesome job writing this story from Daniels perspective. I think you got his personality perfectly... cause I didn't like him in the movie... and I didn't like him in your story. (But a good kind of not liking... hmm.. that doesn't make much sense... I guess I'm trying to say that you got very close to the Daniels from the movie.. yes... that works.) I alos enjoyed watching O'Connell and Evy from someone else's eyes. So, bravo. It was awesome.

As an addendum to my first review, I'd like to mention that I made a typo - I meant that it was one of the more enjoyable Mummy fanfics I've *read.* I was in no way implying that I wrote it. :)

Actually quite an interesting piece from the point of view of the American trio in search of the riches of Hamunaptra; it gives us a look at what they were thinking, and while much of the story is a rewrite of the movie, the writer does an excellent job of capturing the characters' personalities, and fills in many blanks. One of the more enjoyable pieces of Mummy fanfic I've written.

I love this story. How interesting to write it from the point of view of the Americans! I like to read, as well as write, stories that take unexplored angles such as this. You characterized everyone perfectly, filled in some gaps nicely, and had a nice mix of humor and seriousness when either was called for. Bravo!
